The Dial
The dials are the deepest, most lustrous polished lacquer physically possible. Fifteen layers of stove-enamelled Berlac Swiss lacquer, hand-rubbed and oven-cured, for a total thickness of 1.3mm. The slim case and crystal, at 10mm, could have been even slimmer were it not for that excessively, luxuriously thick dial. Floating above the sea of color is a joyous celebration of unique typography, each dial telling its own story.

The Case
Enveloping the dial is what looks at first like a conventional field watch case but that too reveals surprises upon second read. A deceptively simple curve creates the illusion of a floating midcase while concealing the exposed lug holes from above and making for a more comfortable fit as you bend your wrist. Water resistance is 100 meters with a triple gasket crown. A boxed double dome sapphire crystal is held by a thin, polished step bezel.

The Movement
The Fieldtimer is powered by a Swiss hand-wound Sellita SW 210-1 calibre with an accuracy of +/-12 sec/day. It runs at 28,800 vph (4Hz) and has 18 jewels, Incabloc shock protection, and a minimum power reserve of 42 hours. Visible through the sapphire exhibition caseback is the train wheel bridge with hidden Camp logo fully customized in-house by Sellita.

from 20 reviewsLoving the watch! Met the founder at the Intersect Watch Show. The dial has nice detail and it's a very unique piece with its red dial. So far, my favorite strap is the tan leather band.
Ordering from Canada was a breeze and delivery was quick. Had to contact Camp to get the bracelet in a larger size and Justin was quick to respond and figure out the best options to get it to Canada quickly, easily and economically. Great customer service and it was a pleasure to deal with Justin directly. If you need another reason to buy a watch from Camp, then do so for the service.
I've had this watch for a few weeks and I'd say it is the details that separate this from the competition. Everything from the color matching on the underside of the sailcloth strap and stitching on the leather strap, to the injection molded buckles, to the orange used as an accent on the dial all portray a cohesive design that is well considered. The standout is the dial finish and depth though. It's a pleasure to look at and not often something you see on watch with this price. I love that it comes with two straps and a bracelet, providing some extra value from the outset. I also appreciate the choice to use a manual wind movement to keep the watch thin and light, and it wears fantastic as a result. Great summer watch in this colorway. Do pay attention to bracelet sizing instructions at the bottom of the description, when ordering. I made the mistake of ordering the standard bracelet only to discover I couldn't slip it over my hand. Justin was great to deal with and quickly helped me into the right size, but it was an extra hassle that could have been avoided.
Very happy with my Malaga Fieldtimer.
Quality of the product is very good
But most important for me is that the designer inspected a lot of nice details (dial, buckle, straps, colors, case size, caseback) seems a very passionate design. Congrats Camp Team . All the Best
I've never been a wearer of green watch dials. This green is different. Its truly a shade of green I've never seen on a watch or really anything before. The design of the watch is timeless classic. Looking forward to seeing what Camp Watches does next.
Outstanding watch. Great attention to detail, high quality and excellent customer service. I highly recommend this watch and the brand.
I absolutely love my new Camp watch. The color is stunning, the bracelet is so rad, and the overall feel... just wow. Super stoked with this :)
Perfect
I am wearing this one all the time right now, and have not yet switched bands. My only wish is that the crown was a bit larger to make it easier to wind.
Beautiful watch! The supplied bands don't fit my 8" wrist, but the bonclip bracelet does, and I enjoy that! The dial is awesome!
All the way from Hong Kong. I got into microbrands lately and my fiancé purchased the Fieldtimer Malaga Red as the wedding day exchange gift. The enamel lacquer dial looks amazing and similar to the other reviewer, is perhaps a great alternative to anOrdain. Love that red. I like vintage watches so the Fieldtimer, while funkily and modern looking is inspired by watches from vintage sports car. Another positive was that even though the dial at 39mm is on the large side for my small wrist (6”), it sat well given the thickness was only 10mm. At this price point, I feel that I’m getting a lot of value. The only negatives are: 1) I’m not a big fan of the steel band (but that’s no biggie given the amount of third party bands available) and 2) the CNC machining on the case is too perfect, meaning that the watch is kind of sharp along its edges. But overall still very happy
The clear commitment to quality really shines through with this watch. The designer's experience brings a holistic understanding to the watch. The movement is superior and the dial design is simple and detailed at the same time. Probably the best and the hardest part is the elements all actually work together. It's getting more than its fair share of my wrist time.
Being intrigued by an offer of an enamel dial with a manual wind Swiss movement I just had to check it out . I ordered the Florida green version since it was a color I really hadn’t seen before and I was really impressed . The Watch dial color really stands out in person and the package includes 3 straps in total for variety . Though i do especially love the Cordura gray strap . Throw in the beveled bezel and clear caseback excellent water resistance love it . . The watch is a keeper thanks Justin
I have eight other Swiss automatic watches; seven of which are microbrands, but I've been looking at field watches for a minute now. I wanted to fill that slot and was going back and forth between Weiss, CW "Dune" Circula and Formex when Camp Watches popped up on my feed. My initial impression was that the dial looked sick and was kind of similar to the anOrdain with the multiple lacquer coats. Since I was Johnny Come Lately to that party and it's now an 18 month waitlist, I thought I should snag this Camp up ASAP and hope for the best . when it arrived, I wasn't disappointed. The dial was deep and rich as expected and the numerals were cool. I was so enamored with the dial that I totally missed the nuances of the case. there is this really cool, unexpected combination of brushed sides with a telescoping polished bezel topped by domed crystal. It's all very subtle, but beautiful and nuanced in a way that field watches usually aren't. I thought I would like this watch. I love this watch.
